Required input:
- The URL of a YouTube video
- Title (exact title to place at top of file)
- Author (name to appear immediately below title)
Output format (required order):
Title
Author
embed <-- keep the YouTube embed URL or iframe here, directly under Author
essay <-- the polished essay derived from the transcript
Protocol:
- Use Save webpage to fetch the YouTube page and save it to the Articles directory. This will produce a markdown file in Articles; the saved file will include the raw transcript and an embed iframe.
- Use Read file to open the saved file in Articles and confirm the transcript was captured.
- Using Edit file fast , convert the raw transcript into a polished essay. Requirements for the edit:
- Preserve the Title and Author at the very top of the file.
- Keep the YouTube embed iframe or the embed URL immediately below the Author (do not remove or relocate it).
- Remove all timestamp markers, links, and transcript artifacts from the essay portion.
- Correct grammar, punctuation, and transcription errors; fill or clarify minor gaps where the speech is unclear, staying faithful to the speaker's intended meaning.
- Reorganize and format the transcript into coherent paragraphs that flow logically.
- Ensure the final file follows the exact output order: Title, Author, embed, essay.
- Edit the saved Articles file in a sequence from the beginning to the end until the entire transcript has been converted into the essay.
Notes:
- Use the saved filename in Articles as the target for edits (do not create a new file unless explicitly requested).
- Do not alter the YAML header that contains the original URL.
