Zo is actually the original OpenClaw. We launched in June 2025 and inspired Peter Steinberger. Zo just works out of the box, with a personal agent experience designed to be easy enough for anyone to use. Unlike OpenClaw or Hermes, Zo comes with a beautiful home in the cloud for your agent. No terminal setup. No Mac Mini or VPS required. If you want to, you can run OpenClaw and Hermes inside your Zo, but the Zo agent comes with all the same capabilities and more.
Your home on the internet
Zo is an always-on AI computer that does real work for you.Zo can build websites, run automations, and connect to all the tools you already use. Everything runs in your own personal cloud.Access your Zo from anywhere: text, Slack, email, your browser, or the Zo app.
Is Zo like OpenClaw or Hermes?
Do I need to pay to try Zo?
Zo is free to try! On the free plan, you get access to a limited selection of AI models with a daily usage allowance. You can add a payment method to purchase additional credits and access all AI models. You can try most of Zo's features on the free plan, but your computer will go to sleep, and some features may be limited. Learn more about plans on our Pricing page.
How can I get involved with the Zo community?
If you're excited about sharing Zo with your network, apply to become a Zo Ambassador. We'll provide hands-on support, AI credits, and more. If you're just getting started, join our Discord to learn from our community and the Zo team.
