Create a Persona in Zo

Personas let you change how Zo responds. Want a strict code reviewer? A casual brainstorm partner? A social media strategist? Just create a persona.

Ask Zo to make one

The fastest way — just tell Zo what you want:

Or create one manually

Step 1: Open Settings

Click the Settings icon in the left sidebar.

Step 2: Go to AI > Personas

Navigate to Settings > AI > Personas to see all your personas.

Step 3: Create a new persona

Click Create Persona. Give it a name, an optional avatar, and write a prompt that describes how Zo should behave.

Step 4: Write your prompt

This is where you define the persona's personality, tone, and expertise. For example:

Save your persona, then click on it to make it active. Zo will now respond using that persona across chat, SMS, email, and Telegram.

Switch between personas

Swap personas anytime — just ask:

Or go to Settings > AI > Personas and click the one you want to activate.

Edit anytime

Your personas aren't locked in. Refine them as you go:

Or go back to Settings > AI > Personas, click your persona, and edit the prompt directly.
